- Meeting place: Park & Ride, Scotland, Exit 20, I-81 northbound

- Field Trip: To see and hear the mating rituals of AMERICAN WOODCOCKS at the abandoned Heisey Road Orchard.
- Head to 5207 Heisey Road, Shippensburg, but park 0.10 mile off of Stillhouse Hollow Rd next to abandoned orchard.
- Bring flashlight.
- Be prepared for tall, wet grass.
- Destination: Heisey Road orchard. Note: birders are welcome, despite the Posted signs.

- Outreach: Fun day for beginning birders. Easy walks with seasoned birders, fun activities for children. All families, adults, teens, and children age 6 or older (accompanied by parent/guardian) are welcome. Activities include; Bird Walks, Kid’s Corner, Nature Walk, Birding Bingo, Scavenger Hunt, and refreshments. “Birding Buddies” will help participants identify birds.
- Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. A few loaners will be available.
- Meet at Visitors Center in Caledonia State Park, Fayetteville. Park in first parking lot beyond Visitors Center.

- Location: Meet at Big Lots parking lot 184 Southgate Mall (next to Washington Street). Will carpool to rail-trail parking to walk along part of the Chambersburg section of Cumberland Valley Rail-Trail.
